Really liked your site. I'm in a search for a painting of Peter and Christ on the water. Peter is sinking and reaching for the hand of Jesus. I'm not an artist but I would say it is in the classical or renaissance style. I saw this painting when I was a child and can't remember the artist or the title. In terms of beauty I'm more attracted to impressionism as WATER LILIES but since I've been working on becoming a good Christian I've really wanted to see this painting again since it seems to sum up a christian life to me. Anyway back to the search. Again, I really like your site (and I've seen a few).

Sherry,

You make great stuff. It took me a couple scrolls before I got used to it. After seeing a few pictures, I got the hang of your style. Good stuff!!!

I like your paintings. It means you have something special inside of you. It is difficult for a person without the "talent" to communicate on the same level as your paintings....

I like the subject matter, the attitude, and the colors you work in. The style is indicative of a good grasp of your materials and medium and shows a high degree of freedom and talent. Of course, "Gentlemen Callers" grabbed my attention, as a male that's sympathetic to the female energies. You being as attractive as you are, I can picture you seeing men as being focused on seeing you as a sex tool, but there are some of us that look deeper and are desirous of a relationship that is more than skin deep. I refuse to defend men in general because there are a lot of jerks out there, but there are a lot of women that encourage that stupid behavior too. The world of sex is a strange mix of the holy and the bizzare. Your quilts are beautiful - I especially liked the one focused on landscapes. Even though it was featuring Maine-scapes, it reminded me of the beauty of Yosemite.

Enjoyed my visit to your web site. The site befits a Maine chauvinist, raging feminist and leader of the lunatic fringe.

You're right! Content counts. You lured me into hanging out *much* longer than I planned. Nice balance of art/writing/politics. Also liked the link to listing of women's stuff. Thanks.

Hi Sherry - just checked out your web site. I LOVE IT!! It's absolutely brilliant - what a novel concept: a webpage with both an aesthetic sensibility and a sense of humor. Congratulations on bringing some REAL life to the Web.

Cheers, Solange
